Peer Review Process
Al Naqdu: Jurnal Kajian Keislaman implements a double-blind peer review process for all submitted manuscripts. This system ensures that published articles demonstrate academic quality, originality, and significant scholarly contribution.
The peer review process consists of the following stages:
-
Initial Editorial Screening
-
Each submitted manuscript is first reviewed by the editorial board to ensure its relevance to the journals focus, scope, and author guidelines.
-
Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements are returned to the authors without further review.
-
-
Plagiarism Check
-
Manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening using detection software. Submissions with high levels of similarity will be rejected.
-
-
Double-Blind Peer Review
-
Eligible manuscripts are assigned to at least two reviewers with expertise in the relevant field.
-
Both authors and reviewers identities are kept anonymous (double-blind).
-
Reviewers evaluate originality, methodology, clarity, scientific contribution, and publication worthiness.
-
-
Editorial Decision
-
Based on reviewers recommendations, the editor makes the decision to accept, request minor/major revision, or reject the manuscript.
-
Review outcomes are communicated transparently to the authors.
-
-
Author Revision and Final Verification
-
Authors requested to revise must resubmit within the specified timeframe.
-
Revised manuscripts are verified by the editor and, if necessary, sent back to reviewers for re-evaluation.
-
-
Publication
-
Manuscripts deemed suitable for publication are scheduled for the upcoming issue (June/December).
