Screening for Plagiarism

Al Naqdu: Jurnal Kajian Keislaman is strongly committed to upholding the originality of scholarly works. Therefore, all submitted manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening before being sent for peer review.

  1. Detection Tools

    • The journal uses internationally recognized plagiarism detection software (such as Turnitin or iThenticate) to check the similarity index.

  2. Similarity Threshold

    • Manuscripts with a similarity index above 20% will be returned to the authors for revision or rejected if serious plagiarism is detected.

  3. Unacceptable Forms of Plagiarism

    • Direct copying without proper citation.

    • Self-plagiarism or redundant publication of the same work.

    • Citation manipulation to obscure the original source.

  4. Ethical Actions

    • If plagiarism is detected after publication, the article will be retracted in accordance with the journals retraction policy.
