Retraction Policy

Al Naqdu: Jurnal Kajian Keislaman is committed to maintaining academic integrity by implementing a retraction policy in cases of serious violations related to published manuscripts. Retractions are carried out in accordance with international publication ethics guidelines (COPE - Committee on Publication Ethics).

Articles may be retracted if any of the following are identified:

  1. Significant plagiarism or redundant publication.

  2. Fabricated, falsified, or manipulated data that undermine the validity of the research.

  3. Research ethics violations (e.g., misuse of research subjects).

  4. Unlawful authorship claims or serious disputes regarding authors’ contributions.

  5. Major errors that significantly affect the studys conclusions.

The retraction procedure is as follows:

  • The editorial board will conduct an investigation based on reports or findings.

  • If confirmed, the article will be marked as Retracted on the journals website, with a clear explanation of the reason for retraction.

  • The original version of the article will remain accessible to preserve the scholarly record but will be watermarked or clearly labeled as retracted on every page.

In addition to retraction, the journal may issue a correction (erratum/corrigendum) for minor errors that do not affect the overall validity of the article.
