Publication Ethics

Al Naqdu: Jurnal Kajian Keislaman upholds the highest standards of publication ethics as a guideline throughout the entire publishing process. These ethics aim to ensure quality, academic integrity, and trust among the scholarly community regarding the published works.

  1. Authors Responsibilities

    • Authors must submit original works, free from plagiarism, and not under consideration or published elsewhere.

    • All sources used must be properly cited.

    • All individuals who have made significant contributions to the research and writing must be acknowledged as co-authors.

    • Authors are obliged to revise their manuscripts in response to editorial or reviewers feedback.

  2. Editors Responsibilities

    • Editors are responsible for deciding whether submitted manuscripts should be accepted or rejected, based on academic merit, originality, and relevance to the journals scope.

    • Editors must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and must not use them for personal advantage.

    • Editors ensure that the review process is objective, fair, and timely.

  3. Reviewers Responsibilities

    • Reviewers assist editors in making editorial decisions by providing objective and constructive evaluations.

    • Reviewers must maintain confidentiality of the manuscripts under review.

    • Reviewers should decline to review if they have conflicts of interest with the authors or the subject matter.

  4. Publishers Responsibilities

    • The publisher (Universitas Islam Cirebon) supports academic freedom and ensures the integrity of the publishing process.

    • The publisher is committed to ethical, transparent, and responsible publishing practices, free from any form of misconduct.
