Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the efforts made to develop the business field in the PDAM TIRTA JATI Employee Cooperative, to find out the financial performance of the PDAM TIRTA JATI Cooperative, to find out the supporting factors for the implementation of the PDAM TIRTA JATI Employee Cooperative business and how to optimize the supporting factors, to find out the inhibiting factors for the implementation. the business field of PDAM TIRTA JATI Employee Cooperative and how to overcome these inhibiting factors. This research is a qualitative research that uses informant data sources, research sites, and documents. Data was collected by using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of the study indicate that efforts to develop the business field of the PDAM TIRTA JATI Employee Cooperative innovate and make new product plans, prioritize member trust, the company's policy to partner with this EMPLOYEE COOPERATIVE, the financial performance of the PDAM TIRTA JATI Employee Cooperative is calculated by analysis of financial liquidity ratios, solvency, and profitability. From the calculation of several business fields in this cooperative, it shows that all the business fields of this cooperative have good performance and are able to generate net profits in order to improve the welfare of their members. Factors supporting the implementation of the PDAM TIRTA JATI Employee Cooperative business sector are the trust of the cooperative members, the large capital owned by this cooperative, the availability of good facilities and infrastructure.
