PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS OF TEACHING AND LEARNING ACTIVITIES OF ISLAMIC CULTURAL HISTORY
Abstract
The purpose of this research was to determine the problems & solutions in the Teaching and Learning Activities of Islamic Culture History in MTs Mafatihul Huda, Depok Cirebon. The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach of classes VII & VIII in MTs Mafatihul Huda in SKI subjects, The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, documentation and interviews. Data sourced from the reality obtained directly by researchers when one month carrying out PPL (Field Experience Practice) in the School, by revealing the situation as it is. The results showed that when research was conducted using a qualitative approach method, learning Islamic Cultural History in MTs Mafatihul Huda there were several problems, namely: The condition of students and the management of material in learning SKI both includes the material and the use of methods by teachers and PPL students. The solution that researchers get, during the one-month PPL period in teaching practice is the use or selection of methods that focus on a student centered approach and use active learning-based methods accompanied by learning outside the classroom such as Card Games and utilizing school facilities, namely multimedia rooms for learning using AI animation can be an option to overcome the problems of Teaching and Learning Activities of Islamic Culture History in MTs Mafatihul Huda
