PAI TEACHER'S STRATEGY IN IMPROVING MEMORIZATION OF JUZ AMMA CLASS X D STUDENTS AT SMA NU CILEDUG
Abstract
This research aims to describe PAI teachers' strategies in improving the memorization of juz amma for class X D students at SMA NU CILEDUG. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that PAI teachers have an important role in improving students' memorization of juz amma and have strategies so that students can improve their memorization, including 1) Providing motivation to students to be enthusiastic about memorizing juz amma; 2) Students make deposits in class every week so that the number of letters students memorize increases; 3) Doing muraja'ah together so that students don't forget the letters they have memorized; 4) Conduct evaluations to improve the quality of memorization both in terms of fluency, pronunciation and recitation.
