Abstract

This study aims to examine the problem of learning interest in the fiqih subject of class VIII students at Mts N 10 Cirebon. A sense of interest in certain good things or activities such as learning will have a positive impact on children.This cannot be separated from the efforts and important role of a teacher as an educator in schools in an effort to increase students' interest in learning in learning activities at school. The teacher's efforts to increase interest are important, students who have an interest or feeling interested in something, for example in learning, will help the learning process run and help achieve learning goals. And that interest or feeling of interest arises from within oneself naturally but there are factors that influence it in the form of encouragement or stimulation, that is where the role of the teacher makes this effort.

This cannot be separated from the teacher's role in learning
